and how Jesus paid the right price for you!  

  April 9 – MISSIONS NIGHT

Ever wonder how we can reach boys and girls in other countries with the Gospel? Learn more about what missionaries do tonight!  

 April 16 – JOB NIGHT 

Everyone has a job to do. At tonight’s Council Time, our leaders will let you know about the most important job you can ever have!   

 

April 23 – HILARIOUS HAIR NIGHT  

Be sure to arrive at AWANA with your hair combed, colored or spiked! It's your choice!

April 30 – MOUNTAIN NIGHT 

We want to reach new heights! Climb to the top of the mountain and enjoy another successful night in AWANA!   _______________________________________________________   

Commander’s Corner

We do a lot of planting in the spring. People can’t wait to get their hands dirty! We plant beautiful flowers around our house or vegetables in our garden.  

It takes a lot of hard work to plant the seed. We need to pick the right spot for our plant and we need to go back and check on it. Our plant will not come up if it doesn’t have the things it needs to grow properly (sunlight, water, shade). And let’s remember that it takes time. Some plants may need more time to grow than others.

 Boys and girls, it is also important to keep telling others about Jesus. Everybody has their hands (and lives) dirty from sin. And only God can clean up that sin!

 Don’t be afraid to share the Good News that Jesus died for our sins and rose again as our living Savior. But some people may need more time to understand this very important message!

Keep on inviting your friends to AWANA, praying for your food before you eat and letting others see how Jesus can make a difference.  

 I pray that those around you will continue to be touched through the actions of our AWANA club!  

And there’s no better time to make that decision than right now!!

SLAM DUNK CONTEST

 Bring it on!

 During the next few weeks, you will earn points for attending AWANA, bringing friends and completing sections in their handbook.

At the end of our contest, Cubbies, Sparks and T-N-T clubbers can trade every point they’ve earned for a wet sponge to aim at your leaders.  (Don’t worry, every clubber gets to throw at least one sponge, but why would you want to stop there?)

 Earn as many points as you can to soak up all the fun!  It’s a "slam" dunk as far as we’re concerned!
