Clubbers,   I'm having a great time in AWANA this year. I'm really excited about the team effort we've had in learning the books of the Bible. I enjoy hearing all of our Sparkies and T&T clubbers sing the Books of the Bible song each Wednesday.

You guys have looked forward to the sword drills we've done and we're going to do a lot more the rest of the year.

Boys and girls, you'll never regret learning the books of the Old and New Testaments. It will help you the rest of your lives.

I must have been in 3rd or 4th grade when I learned them. Guess where? It was in AWANA!! I had to say the books to pass a section in my handbook. I remember going to my leader's house on a Saturday and working on them.

Learning the books is exciting, but it's about the true stories within those 66 books that's the most exciting. We learn about how God made the heavens and the earth. He tells us how we got here and how sin entered the world. The great story of Jesus Christ is told throughout the entire Bible.

God's Word says if we memorize it-----it will help us not to sin against God. The Bible also says if we truly love God that we'll keep his commandments and we find those in the Bible.

The Bible is the greatest book ever and it pleases God when we learn His Word.

 Commander Jeff
